🍀 Hariyali Amavasya Vrat Katha 🍀

A happy family resided in the palace once upon a time, headed by a monarch. He was the father of a married son.

When the king’s daughter-in-law happened to spot some candy in the kitchen, she went through it all. She responded, “The rats ate all the sweets,” when asked where the candy had disappeared.

The rats heard this and were infuriated by this unfounded accusation. They made the decision to reprimand the king’s daughter-in-law as a result. When visitors to the palace arrived after a few days, the rats decided this would be an excellent chance to chastise the king’s daughter-in-law.

The rodents took the daughter-in-law’s saree and stashed it in the guest room as a form of retaliation. Talk about the character of the king’s daughter-in-law began in the morning when the maids and other people noticed that saree there. The town was rocked by the news, which quickly spread. The king was informed of this and banished his daughter-in-law from the palace since he had doubts about her character.

The daughter-in-law of the monarch moved out of the palace into a cottage, where she lit a lamp beneath a peepal tree every day. She also began to worship, offer jaggery, and provide prasad to the populace at this time. As a result, a few days went by before the king one day strolled by the peepal tree, where his daughter-in-law consistently lit the lamp. He focused his attention on the light beaming surrounding the tree at this period. When the monarch saw this, he was shocked.

Upon his arrival back at the palace, he instructed his soldiers to discover the source of the light. Following the king’s orders, the soldiers approached the tree, where they discovered that the lamps were communicating with one another. One bulb announced, “I am from the king’s palace,” as the other lamps continued to share their individual tales. The king’s daughter-in-law lights me every day and worships me after I was banished from the palace.

He explained that one day the king’s daughter-in-law ate sweets and made up the name of the rats when the other Deepaks questioned him about why she had been driven out of the palace. This infuriated the rats, who then took it upon themselves to avenge the king’s daughter-in-law by storing her saree in the guest room. Seeing all this, the king threw them out of the palace.

The soldiers were shocked to hear all this as well, and when they returned to the palace, they told the king the entire tale. After realizing his error, the monarch summoned his daughter-in-law back to the palace after hearing this.

The king’s daughter-in-law began living a comfortable life due to routinely worshiping the peepal tree.
