🚩 Papmochani Ekadashi 2025 🚩

About Papmochani Ekadashi:

Ekadashi is known as Papmochani Ekadashi, and it occurs between Holika Dahan and Chaitra Navratri. Of the year’s 24 Ekadashis, this one is the final one. Devotees observe Papmochani Ekadashi on the eleventh day of the waning moon in the month of Chaitra, according to the North Indian Hindu calendar. Although it happens on the same day in both calendars, it is observed in the Krishna Paksha of the Phalguna month according to the South Indian calendar.

               The name
Papmochani is a combination of the words Pap and Mochani, the former of which means “sin” and the latter of which means “remover” of sin. On Papmochani Ekadashi, people regard fasting as extremely auspicious, and observing it pardons them of all their sins. On this Ekadashi, people worship Lord Vishnu.

💐Significance Of Papamochani Ekadashi💐

The “Bhavishyottara Purana” and “Harivasara” provide examples of the significance of Papamochani Ekadashi. Sage Lomasa initially told it to King Mandhata, and Lord Krishna later told it to King Yudhisthira, the oldest Pandava.People think that Papamochani Ekadashi cleanses the observer of all sins and absolves them of any responsibility. Those who observe this Ekadashi with complete dedication will always resist ghosts or devils. It is more virtuous to observe Papamochani Ekadashi than to go to Hindu holy sites or even to give a thousand cows.

           The person who
observes this auspicious vrat eventually obtains a position in Lord Vishnu’s heavenly kingdom, known as the “Vaikunth,” and enjoys all of life’s pleasures. Controlling one’s bodily needs and allocating sufficient time for chanting, listening, and reciting Vedic mantras devoted to Lord Vishnu are the primary goals of the Papamochani vrat.
