                           Siddhidatri Maa is seated atop a lotus blossom, with a lion leading her procession. She has four hands and wears crimson clothing. She is holding a lotus flower in her lower left hand and a Shankha in her upper left hand. She is holding a bludgeon (Gada) in her lower right hand and the Chakra in her upper right.  

 
                   Siddhidatri means “Perfection” in Sanskrit, while “Datri” means “the one who gives.” For this reason, she is sometimes referred to as Mata Siddhidatri.

🪴Maa Siddhidatri Puja Vidhi🪴

• This is the last day of Navratri puja; this day is celebrated with the great fun fare. 
  
  
• The day would see nine flowers, nine different types of Fruits, nine different types of dry fruits are also offered. 
  
  
• At the onset, the first thing that is done during the day is to offer Kalash Puja. This would ward off all the negatives of the day. Worshipping a Meru Prushth Shree Yantra can also help you remove negative energies. 
  
  
• Then the below mantra is chanted during the Kalash Pooja. In fact, the mantra is chanted nine times in certain parts of the country. 
  
• Then the Nine Kanya girls, usually below the age of ten is ideal, are invited, and they are given food and dress material. This is a symbol of worshipping the goddess in Kanya Form. 
  
  
• Finally, Maa Siddhidatri aarti is done, and these Kanya Girls are taken to conclude the celebration. 
  
  
• On the ninth day of Navratri, Ramleela functions are also finished while on the tenth day, Dussehra is commemorated across the world.

🌏  What are the eight Siddhis of Siddhidatri? 🌏
               

                                Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva, and Vashitva are the eight types of Siddhis recognized by Maa Siddhidatri.  

• Anima – the power to reduce to the size of an atom – Lord Hanuman had reduced himself to a minuscule version to search for Sita without anyone’s knowledge in the island of Lanka. 
  
  
• Mahima – the power to become enormous in size – Again, Lord Hanuman had become a gigantic version of himself to burn down the island of Lanka. Lord Vishnu also assumed a huge form in his Vamana avatar. With three steps, he was able to cover the three worlds. 
  
  
• Garima – the power to become very heavy in weight. 
  
  
• Laghima – the power to become very light in weight. 
  
  
• Prapti – the power to acquire anything at will at any time. 
  
  
• Prakambya – the power to do anything you desire from flying to walking on water. 
  
  
• Ishatva – power over all the elements of creation. 
  
  
• Vashitva – power to control all the natural forces, and power over life and death.
  
                                It is thought that the goddess gave these siddhis to Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu to assist them in fulfilling their responsibilities. She also granted them ten different kinds of superhuman powers and nine valuables.

                            On the ninth day, halwa, puri, black gram, seasonal fruits, kheer and coconut are offered to Goddess Siddhidatri. It is auspicious to wear purple or violet colour while worshipping the Goddess. This colour symbolises spirituality.

🍁 Maa Siddhidatri Vrat Katha 🍁

                                 In mythology, there was a time when the cosmos was a huge, pitch-black emptiness. Before a little mass of energy materialized in that pitch-black universe, there were no signs of any type anywhere on the planet. Before long, the mass of light began to radiate outward, began to take on shape, and eventually came to an end when it took on the form of a holy woman. Mahashakti, the goddess, was that mass of light.  

 
                            The Tridevas—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shivji—were created by the ultimate authority, who then requested the three gods to reflect on how they would carry out their individual responsibilities to maintain the orderly operation of the universe.  

 
                          In accordance with the Goddess’s instructions, the trio of gods immersed themselves in penance for an extended period, reflecting and seeking counsel from Jagatjanani. At last, feeling satisfied with their atonement, Mahashakti manifested as ‘Maa Siddhidatri’. Saraswati ji went to Brahmaji, Lakshmi ji went to Vishnuji, and Adishakti went to Shivaji, all received from the goddess ‘Maa Siddhidatri’.  

 
                         In the words of “Maa Siddhidatri,” Brahmaji is responsible for creating the universe, Vishnu ji is responsible for sustaining it, and Mahadev is responsible for destroying it when the time comes.The three gods were informed by Maa Siddhidatri that their wives, who will support them in their job, possess their powers. In order to enable the Tridevs to carry out their responsibilities, she also bestowed upon them divine and miraculous abilities. The Goddess gave them eight supernatural powers. 

  
                                  In this manner, the world’s many species, including male and female parts, gods and devils, animals and birds, trees and plants, were created. Numerous stars, galaxies, and constellations glistened in the sky. The planet gave rise to its oceans, rivers, mountains, plants, and animals. Thus, the creation, maintenance, and annihilation of the universe were accomplished with the grace of ‘Maa Siddhidatri’.  

 
                           Another legend states that as the demon Mahishasura’s nuisance on Earth grew, all the gods fled to Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh for safety. Then, using the combined might of all the gods, Mother Siddhidatri materialized and, taking on the form of “Durga,” she slew Mahishasura and safeguarded the cosmos.
