Ram Navami Festive Story:
People celebrate Rama Navami as one of the oldest holidays in India. People say that Rama Navami originated before the arrival of Christians because Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world. The Kalika Puran also refers to Ram Navami. People say that Ram Navami was one of the few holidays that the lower castes could celebrate in India while caste systems were still in place. In Hinduism, they consider it one of the five major holy days, and they say that observing this fast properly results in salvation.
Millions of devout Hindus who believe in God visit India’s temples and other places of worship during the busy months of March and April each year. People who are well-versed in Hinduism do not consider the upcoming month of Chaitra and the observance of Ram Navami, one of the most important Hindu holidays, on the ninth day of the waxing moon phase, or “Shukla paksha,” unusual.
On a day like this in the year 5114 BC, the pious Hindus believe that Dasharatha, the king of Ayodhya, an ancient city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, had his prayers answered. This monarch had three women named Kausalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi. None of the three, however, gave birth to the male child the king needed to govern his empire and establish his dominion. Despite being married for many years, the king had been unable to have children.
The famous sage Vasistha then instructed him to do the Puthra Kamesti Yagna, a sacred ritual performed to conceive. With the consent of King Dasharatha, the famous sage Maharshi Rushya Shrunga performed the ceremony in the most thorough manner possible. Someone handed the king a bowl of payasam, a meal made with rice and milk and told him to distribute it among his women. The king’s two wives, Kausalya, his elder wife, and Kaikeyi, his younger wife, split the payasam. Sumithra receives half of the parts from each spouse. Kausalya and Kaikeyi each give birth to a son, while Sumithra gives birth to two boys as a result of the unequal distribution of the sacred supper.
The royal family and everyone in the city exhaled with relief and thanked God for the miracle, not realizing that Kausalya’s newborn son, Rama, was God himself present in their midst. It was one of the most joyous occasions in Ayodhya. In the magnificent Hindu epic Ramayana, the ancient scholar and Sanskrit poet Valmiki regarded Rama as the seventh incarnation of the greatest god, Lord Vishnu. Rama came into the world to save the defenseless, eradicate evil, and bring humanity back to its previous splendor.
Among his many amazing accomplishments as an adult, Rama demonstrated his divinity to the people by defeating Ravana, the evil demon who ruled Lanka, and his army. Among his many amazing accomplishments as an adult, Rama showed the people that he was divine by defeating Ravana, the evil demon who ruled Lanka, and his army. When Rama became king, the inhabitants of Ayodhya reportedly began celebrating his birthday, demonstrating their amazing devotion to their celestial ruler. It’s very difficult to pinpoint the exact moment that the Rama Navami festivities begin.
Lord Ram gave the death sentence to Hanuman:
Hanuman Ji is regarded as Lord Ram’s most favored devotee. Hanuman Ji has a deep affection for Lord Ram. Hanuman Ji continued to serve Shri Ram day and night when he assumed the throne of Ayodhya. There once was a conference taking place in Shri Ram Ji’s court. All the senior gurus and gods attended that meeting. Whether Ram or the name Ram is more powerful was the subject of controversy. While everyone claimed that Ram was more powerful, Narad Muni asserted that Ram’s name held greater power. Nobody heard Narada Muni. At the time of this conversation, Hanuman Ji peacefully seated himself.
After the meeting concluded, Narada Muni asked Hanuman ji to welcome all the sages, except for Sage Vishwamitra. “Why don’t I greet Rishi Vishwamitra?” Hanuman Ji inquired. “Do not count him among the sages,” Narada Muni retorted, “because he was once a king.”
On Narad Ji’s advice, Hanuman Ji followed suit. Hanuman Ji did not receive Vishwamitra, who had greeted everyone else. This infuriated Sage Vishwamitra, who begged Ram to execute Hanuman as a punishment for his error. Shri Ram killed Hanuman because he was unable to disobey his Guru Vishwamitra’s commands.
Hanuman Ji urged Narada Muni to provide a solution to this situation. Narada Muni was urged by Hanuman Ji to provide a solution to this situation. “You begin chanting the name of Ram without any concern,” Narad added. Hanuman Ji followed suit. He took a comfortable seat and began reciting the name of Ram. At them, Shri Ram aimed his bow and arrow.A regular arrow could not even harm Hanuman Ji’s hair. Shri Ram deployed the most potent weapon in the cosmos, Brahmastra, when his arrows failed to affect Hanuman ji. However, even Brahmastra, when reciting the name of Ram, failed to affect Hanuman. As the situation worsened, Narada Muni begged Sage Vishwamitra to pardon Hanuman Ji. Then Hanuman Ji was pardoned by Vishwamitra.
Death of Lord Rama:
Now that Lord Ram has finished his earthly mission, it is time for him to pass on. Yamraj showed himself as a sage in this circumstance and arrived in Ram’s city. After arriving in Ram’s palace, he scheduled a meeting with him. After meeting Shri Ram, he made it a rule to keep their relationship a secret from everyone. Additionally, he warned that the guard at the door would be executed (i.e., must die) if someone interrupted our conversation. To accept Yamraj’s remarks, Shri Ram took on the appearance of a guru. Ram appointed his brother Lakshman as the gatekeeper as Hanuman ji was not present.
Then Yamraj appeared in his own form and declared, “Your earthly life is complete, Lord.” It’s time for you to go back to your people now. At that very moment, Sage Durvasa arrived at the door while Yamraj and Lord Ram were having a talk. He insisted on entering and urged Lakshman to step back from the door. Lakshman began discussing cursing Shri Ram after someone denied him.
Laxman lost his temper. He would have to perish if he disregarded Shri Ram, and he would condemn himself if he disregarded the sage. He had to make a tough choice in this case and let Rishi in.
During the talk, Lord Shri Ram noticed the sage and grew concerned that he would now have to punish Lakshman for his death. Lord Rama banished Lakshman from the city in such a circumstance. Lakshmana went to the Saryu River and took Jal Samadhi (drowned) in order to keep his brother’s commitment.
Ram became really sad after learning about Lakshman. Then, Lord Shri Ram made the decision to accept Jal Samadhi as well. Additionally, Shri Ram went to the Saryu River to have a water samadhi. Bharat, Shatrughan, Hanuman, Sugriva, and Jamwant were also there at that time. Lord Shri Ram quickly perished in the Saryu River. God eventually emerged from the river in his Vishnu avatar in front of everyone. Everyone in the room, including his followers, received darshan from him. In this manner, Lord Ram finished his earthly life and went back to heaven.
Ram-Sita’s marriage
The Ramayana’s Swayamvar episode between Ram and Sita is an intriguing story. According to the Ramayana by Maharishi Valmiki, Sita’s father, Janak, declared that Sita would marry the first person who could place an arrow on Shiva’s bow. Despite the occasional visit from a king, nobody was able to dislodge this bow. Along with Ram and Lakshman, Sage Vishwamitra visited Janakpur and requested that Janak submit to Ram.
The Ramayana states that they stored this bow in a large iron chest. Five thousand people somehow pushed the eight big wheels of this box. They called this bow Pinaka. After examining the bow and attaching the string, Shri Ram opened the box.
Ram stood with his bow drawn, visible to all. Ram then broke the bow in the center. This caused a horrible, loud sound to reverberate throughout the earth. Flowers began to fall from every direction as soon as the bow broke. By placing a garland around Shri Ram’s neck, Sita ji welcomed him as the gods and goddesses began to pour flowers down from the sky.
Lord Ram’s test of Sita’s fire
The warriors slew Ravana, the conflict came to a conclusion, and Ravana released Sita Ji from his imprisonment. When Sita ji came back, Shri Ramchandra ji tested her by setting her on fire in front of a large crowd. Sita Ji was successful in the fire test. After accepting Sita ji, Lord Rama flew back to Ayodhya on Ravana’s plane together with Lakshman and Hanuman.
While roaming around Ayodhya one day, Rama overheard a washerman arguing with his wife over her leaving the house without permission. “He is not a fool like Shri Ram, who kept Sita in Lanka despite living with another man (Ravan) without her husband (Ram) for twelve years,” the washerman said, refusing to take his wife. Accepted. When Ram heard these remarks, he felt ashamed. Returning to the palace, Ram Ji informed Lakshman Ji of the entire tale of how the villagers were speculating about Sita’s chastity.
Shri Ram ji was upset by this incident. He summoned Sita Ji to the palace right away. Ram Ji dismissed Sita Ji from the palace despite the fact that she was pregnant at the time. Ram Ji did not behave in a human manner, despite Sita Ji’s repeated requests for him. Sita Ji lived in exile for the remainder of her life following this occurrence. “I don’t want to be the target of criticism,” Lord Ram said as he exited the meeting. Someone will damage my heritage.
Shri Ram and Sita Ji insulted the loyal devotee, Hanuman Ji.
Hanuman genuinely believed in Shri Ram. Sita ji once expressed her desire to give back to the warfighters to Shri Ram ji. Sita Ji gave Hanuman Ji her priceless pearl necklace. Hanuman Ji informed Sita Ji that the necklace was useless for her since her Lord Shri Ram was not present in the pearls, which he had broken and crushed. Sita Ji became enraged and reprimanded Hanuman Ji, saying, “O idiot! You acted like a monkey and ruined such a priceless necklace. Get out of my sight. “Anything that does not mention Ram Ji’s name is of no use to me,” Hanuman Ji declared. I wanted to make sure that the name Shri Ram was engraved on these pearls.
“Is the name of Ram inscribed on your body?” Sita Ji then asked. Why don’t you get out of here? Upon hearing this, Hanuman ji ripped open his breast to reveal that the words “Ram-Ram” were inscribed on it. All of this took place in front of Shri Ram Ji, but he said nothing and did not even stand by his most devoted follower, who rescued Sita Ji from Ravana’s imprisonment and assisted Shri Ram Ji during a crisis. Additionally, when Ahiravana abducted Shri Ram and Lakshmana to sacrifice to Mahamaya Devi, Hanuman rescued them from Ahiravana’s captivity. After the actions of Sita Ji and Shri Ram greatly offended him, Hanuman Ji left Ayodhya.
