🌼Nagpanchami story: 1🌼

Once upon a time, a farmer lived in a village, he had two sons and a daughter.

One day when the farmer was plowing the field with his two sons, the farmer accidentally crushed the eggs of a snake and all the eggs were destroyed.

At that time the snake was not present in the field. When the snake came to the field, she saw that someone had broken her eggs, she was very angry and decided to take revenge on the farmer.

After some time when the farmer’s two sons were at home. So at that time the snake bit both of them, due to which both the brothers died.

Because the farmer’s daughter was not there at that time, the serpent could not bite her.

But the very next day when Naagin again went to the farmer’s house, she saw that the farmer’s daughter had put milk in a bowl in front of her and started apologizing to her.

Nagin was pleased to see this kind of attitude and brought his two brothers back to life.

This incident happened on Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month hence Nag Panchami is celebrated every year continuously from this day.

🌼Vrat katha :2🌼

In ancient times a Sethji had seven sons. All seven were married. The youngest son’s wife was intelligent and well behaved of noble character, but his brother was not.

One day when the elder daughter-in-law asked all the daughters-in-law to go along to fetch yellow soil to take home, they started digging the soil along with all the dhalia and khakhara. Then a snake appeared, which the elder daughter-in-law began to scratch. Seeing this, the daughter-in-law stopped him and said – ‘Don’t kill him? This poor man is innocent.

Hearing this, the elder brother-in-law did not kill him, then the snake sat aside. Then the younger daughter-in-law told her-‘We are coming back now, you don’t leave here. Saying this, she went home with the clay with everyone and got stuck into the work, forgetting the promise she had made to the snake.

When she remembered the thing the next day she reached there with everyone and seeing the snake sitting there said – Hail, snake brother! The snake said – ‘You said brother, that’s why I leave you, otherwise I would have bitten you for telling a lie. She said – brother, I have done a mistake, I apologize for it, then the snake said – well, from today you have become my sister and I have become your brother. Ask whatever you want. She said – Brother! I have no one, it is good that you became my brother.

After a few days, the snake came to his house in the form of a human being and said, ‘Send my sister.’ Everyone said, ‘He has no brother, so he said – I am his brother by a distant relation, having gone out in childhood. On persuading him, the people of the house sent a choti with him. He said on the way ‘I am a snake there, so don’t be afraid and catch my tail where it is difficult to walk. She did as he was told and thus reached her home. She was amazed to see the wealth and opulence there.

One day the snake’s mother said to him- ‘I am going out for an errand, you should give cold milk to your brother. He did not notice this and gave her hot milk, in which her face was badly burnt. Seeing this, the snake’s mother became very angry. But she calmed down on the snake’s explanation. Then the snake said that the sister should be sent to her home now. Then the snake and his father gave him lots of gold, silver, jewels, clothes and ornaments etc. and brought him to his house.

Seeing this wealth, the elder daughter-in-law said with envy – brother is very rich, you should bring more money from him. When the serpent heard this word, he brought and gave away all the gold things. Seeing this, the elder daughter-in-law said – ‘The broom to clean them should also be of gold’. Then the snake also brought a broom with gold.

The snake gave the young daughter-in-law a wonderful necklace of diamonds and gems. The queen of that country also heard his praises and told the king that Seth’s daughter-in-law’s necklace should come here. The king ordered the minister to take the necklace from him and be present immediately, the minister went to Sethji and said that ‘Maharaniji will wear Nani Vahu’s necklace, take it from her and give it to me. ‘. Out of fear, Sethji asked for a necklace from the daughter-in-law and gave it to her.

The younger daughter-in-law found this very bad, she remembered her snake brother and prayed coming-Brother! The queen has taken away the necklace, do something that when the necklace is around her neck it becomes a snake and when she gives it back to me, it becomes diamond and jewels. The snake did just fine. As soon as the queen put on the necklace, it turned into a snake. Seeing this, the queen wept and began to weep.

Seeing this, the king sent word to Seth that he should send the daughter-in-law immediately. Sethji was afraid that the king would not know what? He himself appeared with a young daughter-in-law. The king asked the little daughter-in-law-what kind of magic have you done, I will punish you. Nani Vahu said – Rajan! Pardon my arrogance, this necklace is like diamonds and gems around my neck and snakes around other people’s necks. Hearing this, the king made that snake and gave it a necklace and said – wear it and show it now. As soon as the young bride wears it, it becomes full of diamonds and gems.

Seeing this, the king was convinced of his words and was pleased and gave him many coins as a reward. Nani returned home with her necklace and this. Seeing his wealth, the elder daughter-in-law jealously taught her husband that the younger daughter-in-law had money from somewhere. Hearing this, her husband called his wife and said- tell me who is giving you this money? Then he remembered the snake.

Then at the same time the snake appeared and said – if my religion doubts my sister’s behavior I will eat her. Hearing this, the husband of the younger daughter-in-law was very happy and gave the serpent god great hospitality. From that day the festival of Nagapanchami is celebrated and women worship the snake as a brother.

🌼Vart Katha:3🌼

There was a small village. There should be one doshi in it. Doshi had seven sons.

Six sons were older. His daughters-in-law were very happy in Pierre.

Money was the train of interest. The son-in-law of the seventh boy was poor. So her mother-in-law taunts, interrupts the conversation and so on

Give grief to the little daughter-in-law. After everyone’s meal, sit and lie.

The sad days of the poor daughter-in-law were passing. A happy day came to the little daughter-in-law.

Nani Vahu got pregnant. As days passed by.

The daughter-in-law feels like eating different things, but who will let her eat? All his enemies in the house.

One day, Dudhpak is made at home.

Nani Vahu wanted to eat Dudhpak.

At home, the big and small ate Dudhpak happily. But no one looked at the little daughter-in-law.

After everyone had eaten the dudhpak, there was only a mess on his side.

The mother-in-law said, eat the dhiba and eat the burnt crusts in the pan which the poor daughter-in-law scooped up the burnt crusts of the dudhpak and collected them in a bowl and then went to fill the water to wash the dishes.

Placing the bowl of crusts near a rafter, she proceeded to fill the bucket with water.

I thought in my mind that if the maid came from work to where the bowl was placed, the bowl was empty.

Nagani used to live in that raft.

She was also pregnant so smelling the burnt crust made her want to eat the crust, and ate the crust outside.

Seeing the bowl empty, the daughter-in-law’s head exploded and when the boli came to the burnt forest of the house, the forest also caught fire.

My luck is burnt, who should I blame? God bless the one who has eaten.

       Said such a blessing.

Nagani Nani in Rafda was happy to hear the blessing of the daughter-in-law and came and said, sister! I have eaten your burnt crusts, but say so! What made you want to bring it here and eat it? The little daughter-in-law told Nagani all about her grief while crying.

After listening to the grief-filled words of the little daughter-in-law, Nagani took pity on her and said, “Daughter, you will not cry, from today I will be your mother, from today I will call you your mother, and I will not bring any pain in my heart.”

We will come to fill your lap. On the day of filling your womb, you will make Kankotri.

The daughter-in-law’s joy could not be overheard by Nagani.

Days began to pass. Then came the lap filling day.

The little daughter-in-law made her mother-in-law a lot of kala wala, carefully wrote a kankotri to her mother-in-law and took that kankotri and put it on the harkhati rafta in her mind, I am going.

Keep my watch. Saying that, the little daughter-in-law has gone back to her own home.

The moment came to fill the lap. There, the serpent and the maiden have come home in a hurry.

Word spread throughout the village that Nani Vahu’s sister-in-law Pieriya is very rich. How many things have come to fill the lap! After the lap-filling ceremony was over, after telling the mother-in-law, Nag and Nagani took the little daughter-in-law to their house.

In time, the daughter-in-law gave birth to a son who looked like a god.

As a son grows at night, he grows more during the day, so he marries a daughter-in-law with a younger daughter-in-law and her cubs grow bigger.

happens After heating the milk every day, they put a bell next to it and Nagani tells the little daughter-in-law that we should go for grazing, and the bell rang as the milk cooled down.

Hearing the sound of the bell, your brothers (snake cubs) will come to drink milk. Thus every day the little daughter-in-law rings the bell, and the baby goat drinks milk.

One day the snake has gone to graze.

The milk is hot. The daughter-in-law is in some work and the son of the daughter-in-law has learned to walk on the bhakhodi, he walks near the bell mistaking it for a toy and the bell rings next to him.

So, if the nagini’s cubs put their mouths in the pot, they will become moldy and someone’s mouth will be burnt, someone’s tail will be burnt and the nagani will come back and see that some of its cubs have become khandias and some have become bandiyas.

Nagani asks Nani Vahu, who did this? Then the little daughter-in-law cries and talks about everything.

Nagani and Nagani forgive the little boy’s mistake, but Nagani’s cubs have a grudge in mind that they will take revenge by doing it after the sister goes to her father-in-law. A lot of time passes like this.

Then the younger daughter-in-law is educated by her father-in-law by feeding her with snakes. Seeing a lot of money in Jiyana, the daughter-in-law’s mother-in-law put her fingers in her mouth.

One day, the little daughter-in-law went to draw water and the baby goats came and asked the little daughter-in-law’s mother-in-law, where has the sister gone? Mother-in-law says, water has to be filled.

The snake’s cubs are sitting in the house and the little one comes with water and the cubs are hiding in the paniara and they think that the sister will come to lay the yoke in the paniara, so we will give her the land.

When the little daughter-in-law goes to put the rope in the paniyara, she gets hurt and immediately falls out of her mouth. That Khamma to my Khandia Bandia Veer.

Hearing this, both the snake’s cubs say how sad the poor sister is for us, we will not bite her anymore and they go away silently and they forget the revenge.

In-laws were considered younger daughters-in-law. So the wood started burning without the jets.

One day, while the younger daughter-in-law’s son was spilling Jeshreni’s milk, Jethani sputtered.

You belong to a big family. Tell your mane to fence the buffaloes.

The little daughter-in-law went to Rafda crying. When Nagani talked about wax, Nagani sent seven twenty (one hundred and forty) dozen buffaloes on the very next day.

Without holding any grudge, Shyama gave the unripe buffaloes to the Jethanis.

Seeing the largeness of her heart, the hearts of the Jethanis turned upside down and the little daughter-in-law became the golden manite in the house.

O serpent god! Hey Nagamata! Fruits to all those who pray, read, listen, whose little daughter-in-law got fruits.
